Terms and Conditions of Use of the GHG Emission Data

By using the GHG Emission Data (hereafter “the GIO data”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Target Data	The GHG Emission Data of Japan
Scope of consent	The user may distribute the GIO data to a third party without any modification of the data and may publish new intellectual products (hereafter "Products") based on the GIO data. Commercial use is also possible.
Conditions for distribution	In the event that the user distributes the GIO data　or Products to a third party in accordance with this Terms and Conditions, the same Terms and Conditions apply also to the distributed GIO data or Products. When the user distributes the GIO data or Products to a third party in accordance with this Terms and Conditions, the user is obliged to inform the third party about the URL of the original GIO data (http://www.nies.go.jp/gio/en/archive/index.html), the fact that GIO data is provided based on the Terms and Conditions of Use, and that the GIO data is continuously updated by GIO.
Recommendation of use of the latest version	The user is encouraged to use the latest version of the GIO data. The user should also avoid using a combination of versions with different release dates (e.g. the latest version of GIO data and an earlier version in creating a time-series).
Citation policy	When publishing any Products based on the GIO data, it must be clearly stated in accordance with the above "Source Notation“ that Products are derived from GIO data. However, GIO may request the user to delete the citation from the Product. In that case, the user shall comply with the request within reasonable extent.
Disclaimer	The user must not imply that any of its Products are guaranteed by GIO without GIO’s permission.
