There are 8 to 10 rows of short pointed tentacles regularly arranged radially around the apical surface of the animals. There are 4 to 6 tentacles in each row. The centrally-placed macronucleus is spherical. Reproduction by simple endogenous budding. Most easily confused with Dendrocometides which has branched pointed tentacles that are not in fascicles.
