Research on Disaster Environment

As part of efforts towards recovery and restoration from the Great East Japan Earthquake and “Environmental Creation”, the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) has arranged the various research topics currently being implemented at NIES as “Research on Disaster Environment” into the "Panorama of Research on Disaster Environment". This panorama, as well as a summary of these various undertakings, can now be viewed in the below document “An Overview of Research on Disaster Environment, Towards Recovery and Restoration from Disasters and Environmental Creation”.

NIES has now updated and summarized outcomes associated with "Research on Disaster Environment" to reflect activities undertaken in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake, which are now available below as "An Overview of Research on Disaster Environment and associated Outcomes following the Great East Japan Earthquake, National Institute for Environmental Studies".
