Inverted pyramidal body without a lorica and not flattened. Borne upon a long stalk attached to gammarid crustacea (Poeckilogammarus sukaczewi). Tentacles arranged in 3 distinct fascicles on the anterior surface of the body from within 3 crown-like protoplasmic protuberances. Macronucleus elongate. Single species genus found in Lake Baikal. Most easily confused with Acineta and Tokophrya.
