Shape reniform with short rostrum which curves to the right (in other genera it curve to the left). Ventral surface flattened with 16-18 striations. Dorsal surface convex with 4 longitudinal ridges. Body uniformly ciliated in longitudinal rows. Oval oral aperture in an apical position at end of rostrum and bears a triangular membrane. Macronucleus spherical in anterior body half. Contractile vacuole centrally placed. Based on single record by Vuxanovici (1963) in Romania.
