Body shape elongate, metabolic, rounded posterior, anterior truncated transversely. Covered in longitudinal furrows. Oral aperture rounded, surrounded by forward pointing spines and armed internally with trichocysts. Uniformly ciliated. Macronucleus C-shaped. Posterior contractile vacuole located on one side. Found in cave pool feeding on ciliates, single record (Romania).
