Small (35 um long) flattened reniform ciliates. Anterior end bending to the crenulated right-hand side. Oral aperture in anterior body half with a narrow membrane on the right edge. Dispersed trichocysts present. Contractile vacuole posterior. Macronucleus spherical and centrally located. Single species genus originally found amongst Lemna, the floating pond weed.
