Outline shape heart-like, laterally flattened. There is a short but mobile anterior snout supported by trichites upon which the apical oral aperture is situated. Body covered in longitudinal striations and is entirely and uniformly ciliated. Central macronucleus is reniform. Large terminal contractile vacuole. Based on report in Romania by Vuxanovici (1963) on a single example found in a sapropelic sample.
