Body outline shape heart-like to oval, rounded in cross-section with regular longitudinal ribs. Oral aperture apical, located at end of distinct but short anterior snout which is surrounded by a group of long cilia projecting forwards. Somatic ciliation uniform, entirely covering body which is packed with numerous green zoochlorellae. Macronucleus spherical, located in center of cell. Contractile vacuole not seen. Based on single report in Romania by Vuxanovici (1963)
