Trophont; In moult of freshwater gammarids Gammarus pulex, Echinogammarus berillono and Carinogammarus roeseli and on Asellus aquaticus. Body twisted but ovoid to pyriform in shape. There are 9 rows of somatic cilia which spiral dextrally from anterior to posterior. Eight originate at or near the apex while kinety one originates about quarter of body length from apex. Anterior ventral surface without clumps of cilia. Oral ciliature consists of 3 short ciliary rows left and posterior to the rosette. There are 2 other ciliary rows anterior to rows. Contractile vacuole without canal. Macronucleus elongate.
Phoront; Cyst attached to crustaceans on branchial lamellae of pleopods.
