Body rounded bearing a variable number of branched arms which are located on the upper surface. There is neither stalk nor lorica and the body is attached terminate in pointed tentacles which are retractile. The macronucleus is rounded and reproduction is by endogenous budding. Most easily confused with Cometodendron.
