Descriptions

This marine, planktonic species is known only from the original description, based on specimens collected from the Antarctic Ocean (Tuffrau, 1974). It has a somewhat Euplotes-like arrangement of FVC and with a long row of right caudal cirri. There are no left marginal cirri, and the macronucleus is single and C-shaped. This species the sole member of the genus. (ref. ID; 7354)
